My Southern C Summit 2023 Recap
I am so excited to recap my latest experience at The Southern C Summit, which I attended earlier this month, February 1st - 3rd, at the fabulous Cloister at Sea Island in Sea Island, Georgia. The Summit is one of the premier networking and educational conferences for female entrepreneurs, and undeniably the most fun and fashionable conference you'll ever attend! The Cloister offers the most amazing accommodations and backdrop for the Summit, making it feel more like a vacation than a business trip! Â
The 3-day Summit kicks off with Swag Market, a favorite event for attendees! With nearly 20 different sponsors this year, you left with nearly more Swag than you could carry! Fortunately, Crab & Cleek were on hand again this year passing out their wonderfully large and sturdy canvas tote bags to carry everything! The rest of the Summit was filled with engaging presentations given by carefully selected experts that covered a variety of topics of interest for female entrepreneurs, as well as several special events sprinkled throughout. These events included Bubbles, Books & Biz, the Mentor Lunch, Sip + Shop, and the Silent Disco, sponsored by @JacksonMorganCream, all designed to foster great networking experiences.
As much fun as these events are for attendees, they also provide fantastic sponsorship opportunities that are great ways to get your products and services in front of an engaged audience. Last year I had the pleasure of being one of the Swag Market sponsors, which gave me the unique opportunity to meet face to face with attendees, talk about my brand, and give out boxes of Canvas Style jewelry to all in attendance, which was then spotted throughout the rest of the Summit and on social media.
This year I was fortunate to be one of the Summit’s Spotlight Sponsors, which allowed me to gift special boxes of jewelry from our Country Club and Equestrian collections to everyone in attendance and also unveil our latest collaboration, a Derby capsule collection with Summit Alum, For Pete's Sake Pottery, whom I met at last year's Summit!
So, why do I attend? There are so many reasons, but I really love meeting and connecting with so many other female entrepreneurs and business resources. The networking and potential collaboration opportunities are endless.
The Summit always leaves me feeling invigorated, energized and inspired. Cheri and Whitney, the founders of The Southern C, do an amazing job of pulling together such a fantastic group of women (and men) and fostering an environment where everyone becomes cheerleaders for everyone else - It's truly an amazing experience that I cannot recommend enough!!
