You Can Never Go Wrong with Pink

I can’t think of a more Canvas Style appropriate holiday than Valentine’s Day! Lots of pinks, bows and girly everything. It’s time to throw a Galentine’s Day party, ladies!

Get Your Gals!

Celebrated traditionally on February 13th, it’s a day to celebrate your gal pals and your friendships. While it originated on the popular television show "Parks & Rec", it’s a holiday that’s fun to decorate and set a table for so I decided to invite my friend Kristel of Stylin' Brunette to decorate with me.

Set a Focal Point for the Room

Did you know decorating a fireplace mantle isn’t just for Christmas? I refresh my mantle for each season, including Valentine’s Day. I painted wooden letters from Michael’s in varying shades of pink and red and spelled out "Be Mine". This is another trick that is easily replicated for just about any holiday! Then for some volume (and drama) I strung paper flowers from Amazon across the front. It really makes a statement and a photo opp moment!

Go For High/Low Styling

When it comes to the tablesetting, I layered in Valentine’s Day conversation heart decor pieces from Amazon with pink Staffordshire Dogs from Stylin' Brunette. I topped it off with flowers in a pink cachepot from Jaye's Studio for the centerpiece.

Find Your Staple Decor Elements

If you’ve been following along for a while, you know that I love Estelle Colored Glasses.  I tend to always include them in my settings.  For this tablescape, I used the Fuchsia Stemless for water glasses and Fuchsia Wine Glasses for the wine!   Also, my go-to party trick is using Canvas Style jewelry as party favors and the bangles as napkin rings. Everyone loves to go home with them!

Now here’s a toast to girlfriends and girl power! Cheers!
