Michelle Shaw is a busy mom and the founder & CEO of CANVAS, an on-trend fashion jewelry brand devoted to creating effortless style for busy women on the go.  

“As women, there are so many things competing for our time, that there’s just a lot of pressure for us to “perform”.  We want to look great & pulled together, but do we spend that time on ourselves in the morning, or do we spend it with our children before sending them off to school for the day?” 

Realizing the power of accessories, Michelle believes you can do both, simply by throwing on a great pair of statement earrings or a killer bracelet stack.  “People will notice your earrings, or bracelets, or necklace, and won’t be paying attention to your “light” face of makeup or half-done hair style.  Fashion jewelry has this amazing ability to quickly pull together a look, and even breathe new life into a tired wardrobe.” 

Outside of work, Michelle can be found spending as much time as possible with her 6 year-old daughter, Madeleine.  She also enjoys family hikes & bike rides, jogging, traveling, snow skiing, spending time in the mountains, casual dinners with family & friends, and cuddling with the family’s two Cavalier King Charles Spaniel pups … Lacey and Baron.
