Q&A with Jill from the Lovely Flamingo
We sat down with one of our absolute favorites, Jill from the Lovely Flamingo! We talked all things summer style, her background in blogging and touched on a very special project she has coming up!Â
Â
Colorful Florida fun! I love to share about beautiful spots and fun things to do in Florida, resort wear & colorful coastal fashion, beach life and everything in between!Â
When I moved back home to Florida I feel like I really appreciated where I grew up so much more. I missed living so close to the beach and wanted to share my love for it! I have always loved flamingos and all things lovely and pretty so The Lovely Flamingo was born!
I’ve had a few different blogs over the past 8 years but finally found my perfect groove when I became 'The Lovely Flamingo’ about 5 years ago! I now run this full time :) I also have a t-shirt and hat shop,

Tampa Bay! I was born and raised in St. Petersburg, FL about 2.5 miles from the beach! After college, I moved to Hawaii, Las Vegas and Buffalo but have been back home in Florida for about 5 years now! And I must say, there’s no place like home :)
Everything to do with the water! I love spending time at the beach, going out on the boat, paddle boarding and then ending the day having a glass of champagne at a rooftop bar watching the sunset over the water!
I am a dress girl! I love a sundress or a flowy maxi dress with a pair of raffia sandals, a floppy straw hat, cute sunnies and of course some fabulous jewelry!
I am loving all of the bright fun colors lately!! Wearing color just makes me happy:)
My new collection with CANVAS Style was inspired by my love of beach life, palm trees and that feeling you get with your toes in the sand and the sun on your cheeks. Lovely pieces that are perfect to wear all summer long!
My Instagram feed! Lots of pink and pops of color along with gold which reminds me of the way the sand looks at sunset.
When I wake up I like to have celery juice and do a Peloton class, then either take photos on the beach (we love a sunrise shoot!) or post on Instagram, edit photos and catch up on emails and DM’s until lunch. The afternoons are usually for screen printing t-shirts, packaging and shipping them out, then cooking dinner (sometimes with a glass of wine) with my husband and watching the Real Housewives. If I can squeeze a sunset walk on the beach it’s even better!
How do I pick just one? Besides my new collection, I love all of the Ginkgo and Floral Earrings, and I am constantly wearing the Bali Bracelets!
