A Chic Chinoiserie Twist to Your Summer Event
With warmer weather on the horizon here in San Antonio, Texas, there’s nothing I love more than entertaining friends in my backyard during Springtime.Â
The lush greenery, elegant tablescapes — and let’s not forget the fashion — are all quintessential elements in planning the perfect garden party!
Which is why I wanted to share some of my favorite Garden Party tips with you today. Follow these, and your event will surely be a major success!

Tip #1: Start with a chic, seasonal color palette that plays off your surroundings.
I’m loving a blue moment right now! The classic blue and white Chinoiserie pattern pops against the natural backdrop of an outdoor setup.

Tip #2: Always add an element of greenery!
As they say, Spring has sprung! … And brought with it beautiful green scapes in the process, that can create the perfect backdrop for an enjoyable afternoon or evening outdoors.
Adding in a few thoughtfully placed floral arrangements to your tablescape can bring warmth and elegance to your event. While it may be a small detail in the grand scheme of hosting the perfect Garden Party, it’s one your guests will surely appreciate. Some of my personal favorites to use are hydrangeas, peonies, roses, and tulips.

Tip #3: Don’t forget the Cocktails!Â
Champagne is an easy staple for any outdoor event. Delicate flutes and glamorous bottles, add another layer and variety to your table.
Not to mention its crisp, refreshing taste on those warm Spring & Summer days!
Though, my Texas roots do leave me partial to sipping Tequila, served slightly chilled, regardless of the season!Â

Tip #4: Pick your perfect outfit and most importantly… accessorize!
If you’re going for a more understated look, you can never go wrong with a crisp white button-down shirt paired with a statement earring.
